Geoscience Australia calls for community feedback on Australia’s Precise Positioning needs – now and for the future

Dear Precise Positioning Community,

A new campaign, lead by Geoscience Australia, together with its partners FrontierSI, Curtin University and Positioning Insights, is calling on the community to share their feedback on how they currently use precise GNSS positioning data.

Geoscience Australia provides a range of GNSS data streams, products and services, enabling users throughout Australia to benefit from Positioning Australia’s investment in advanced GNSS infrastructure.

One of Positioning Australia’s objectives is to increase industry and community uptake of their positioning technology, and ultimately improve how location information is used in Australian business operations.

Please follow this link – https://ppi-rfi.typeform.com/to/ZKC4xgP9 – to the questionnaire which takes 20 minutes to complete, ideally in one sitting, and will be open for 8 weeks.

The findings and insights will support the development of new standards and protocols that will help meet the future precise positioning needs of your industry.

We appreciate your time to share your expertise.

Kind Regards,

The PA1008 Project Team
